Groeten,
Albert

Nothing is more beautiful than exploring the world by bicycle. Snowy peaks loom in the distance. The sound of tires rolling over the hot asphalt, the smell of freshly roasted coffee as the first rays of the sun appear, the taste of a robust wine, but above all the feeling of being one with nature and experiencing complete freedom. All senses are stimulated while riding, where boundaries are unlimited and you are in complete control.

As a human being, I feel privileged to be healthy, happy and a little crazy. When the world is your oyster, why not push the limits? I already asked myself that question as a little guy, when I explored the neighborhood on my cross bike and crashed, because I flew through the corner too fast.

That privilege may seem obvious at times, but it certainly isn't for most people who have cancer. On Saturday, April 24, 2021 I will start a trip from Rotterdam to the island of Kefalonia in Greece. Here I want to live with my girlfriend. During this emotional adventure of more than 7 weeks, across Europe, I want to collect as much money as possible for scientific research for cancer. We all are directly or indirectly affected by this lifethreatening illness. Every step closer to a cure for cancer is extremely important and this is why I desperately need your support.

I plan to organize my trip in 40 stages of 70 kilometers. For each stage I am sponsored for at least € 50, -. Everyone is welcome to accompany me during (part of) a stage or longer. My goal is to raise at least € 7,500.

I would like to keep you informed of my adventures via social media.

It would be great if you support me. In any case, I will be cycling myself out of my pants to achieve my goal!

Regards,

Albert
